We built this series to tell the Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell case the right way, from the beginning, in order, and on the record. Here it is in full.

Part 1, Two Books, sets the stage: Lori’s life from Rialto to Austin to Kauai, Joseph Ryan’s death, the stun gun attack Alex Cox pleaded guilty to, Charles and JJ, and on the other side, Chad’s cemetery years, his novels and claimed visions, and Tammy holding it all together.

Part 2, Ned, is Charles Vallow’s chapter: St. George, Bishop Shumway, the castings, the warnings he gave everyone, the beneficiary change to Kay Woodcock, and July 11, 2019.

Part 3, The Pet Cemetery, is the hardest stretch: the raccoon text, the pond, the storage unit, the four stories, Brandon Boudreaux, Tammy’s driveway, Tammy’s death, the Kauai wedding, the exhumation, Alex’s death, the arrest, and June 9, 2020.

Part 4, No One Was Murdered, is the reckoning: competency, the lawyer who was removed, two Idaho trials, a death sentence, two Arizona trials, Kay speaking as JJ, and Lori’s last appeal.

Nancy Guthrie: The Evidence Trail Raises WHAT Question?! - Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary

The Nancy Guthrie case has two sets of unanswered questions: what happened on the road outside her Tucson home, and what investigators may have been able to recover from the porch. Jennifer Coffindaffer, a retired FBI agent, has been pressing on both. Her reported visit to the Catalina Foothills neighborhood after midnight starts this combined conversation.Coffindaffer says she drove the streets without headlights and walked near Nancy’s home to assess how much she could actually see. Her description includes porch lighting, landscaping lights and several routes past businesses and other potential camera locations. That observation challenges a simple explanation that the neighborhood was too dark to yield helpful footage. But it cannot prove any particular camera was recording, working or pointed in the right direction. Identifying an escape vehicle would still require actual footage and verified timestamps.The public timeline places a doorbell-camera disconnection at 1:47 a.m. on February 1, a software detection at 2:12, and a pacemaker-app disconnection at 2:28. None of those events, by itself, fixes the precise time Nancy was taken. The uncertainty matters when reconstructing how an intruder may have moved through the neighborhood.At the house itself, Coffindaffer questions evidence handling, including a reported clump of vegetation and the front-door mat. Those are her allegations and investigative questions, not proof that deputies discarded those items. The separate lab story is better documented: a hair sample recovered in February passed through a private Florida laboratory before reaching the FBI, with later testing reported as inconclusive.Tony Brueski brings Coffindaffer together with retired FBI behavioral expert Robin Dreeke to separate observable facts from assumptions.
