Elizabeth Holmes Sat Down With a Camera Crew and Insisted She’d Never Done THIS

Published by Tony Brueski on

Nathan Fielder’s Elizabeth Holmes documentary has her telling him she has not told one lie in her whole life. A federal jury found her guilty on wire fraud and conspiracy counts for cheating Theranos investors, and the judge handed her 11 years.

Fielder moved into her house for her last 34 days before prison, and each time he pushed back on the claim, she said it again.

Tony puts the question to psychotherapist Shavaun Scott: does Holmes know she’s lying, or has she repeated the story so many times that her own brain filed it as true? He also asks how a mind holds an 11-year sentence next to a claim of total innocence without cracking, and why the shame and panic most people show when they’re caught never seem to surface on her.

Her 2027 halfway house is outside Austin, and Shavaun lays out what to watch for the next time Holmes is on camera.
