Caleb Flynn’s Mistress Lied to the FBI About WHAT?
Alleigha Botner is the prosecution’s star witness in the Caleb Flynn murder trial. She’s also a woman who deleted evidence, lied to federal agents, and helped the defendant research how to wipe his phone — all before anyone asked her a question under oath.
Botner testified she and Flynn exchanged over a hundred thousand messages while she worked as a worship leader at the Flynns’ church. She read the jury texts in which Flynn allegedly said he wished he could kill his wife, and one exchange where he texted “kill her” in response to her question “what can I do?”
On the last night of Ashley Flynn’s life, Botner testified she went to ChatGPT and searched how to delete their messages. She sent Flynn the screenshots. Hours later, Ashley was shot twice in the head.
Botner’s first reaction, she testified, was that it was “too much of a coincidence.” She texted Flynn “were you involved?” and deleted the text. When the FBI interviewed her four days later, she denied the affair entirely. She told the jury she believes Flynn killed his wife. The defense let her say it without objection. Cross-examination hasn’t started — and neither have the defense’s questions about the Vandalia house she was staying in that night, which investigators never searched.
