Caleb Flynn Trial Day 5: Botner Gave Him WHAT Final Deadline?!
Alleigha Botner told the Caleb Flynn jury that by late 2025, her message to Caleb had become consistent: leave Ashley Flynn, or the affair was over. Botner testified that she first set Christmas Eve as a deadline, then extended it to January 11, 2026.
On January 11, Botner said she texted Caleb that the deadline had passed and she was officially moving on. The next day, she testified, Caleb replied that he was sorry but understood their relationship was over. Then, on February 3, she said he reached out again and sent lyrics to a song he had written for her.
Caleb Flynn has pleaded not guilty in the murder of his wife, Ashley Flynn. Prosecutors allege he killed Ashley on February 16 and staged their Tipp City home to resemble a burglary. The defense says an intruder killed Ashley and investigators rushed to blame Caleb.
The timeline matters because the jury is now hearing how the affair moved from repeated ultimatums to an apparent breakup – and then, less than two weeks before Ashley’s death, contact started again.
