Caleb Flynn Trial Day 6: Neighbor Cameras Caught WHAT Near Alleigha?
Joseph Stratman’s cameras didn’t show an outside intruder approaching the home where Alleigha Botner was house-sitting. Prosecutors instead played three surveillance clips that Stratman testified showed a car leaving, returning, and leaving again – evidence the state used to place Alleigha at the house during the period it says Ashley Flynn was killed.
Caleb Flynn has pleaded not guilty to charges including aggravated murder in the February 16, 2026 death of his wife, Ashley Flynn. His defense says Ashley was killed during a home-invasion burglary and investigators rushed to blame Caleb.
Pastor Jordan Hansen of Christian Life Center testified that staff and volunteers are prohibited from intimate relationships unless they are married, and that an extramarital affair would violate church policy. Hansen also testified that Alleigha was house-sitting for him at the time of the incident and resigned from CLC the following weekend.
On cross-examination, Hansen acknowledged there were no surveillance cameras inside or outside his house. He also described farmland and an open field behind the property. That leaves the jury with two different pieces of the geography: a neighbor’s cameras that Stratman said showed no outside intruder, and areas around Hansen’s home that those cameras did not cover.
