What Alleigha Botner Texted Caleb Flynn About Ashley Before She Was Killed

Published by Tony Brueski on

Alleigha Botner was the prosecution’s star witness in the Caleb Flynn murder trial. She helped put Caleb away for shooting his wife Ashley in her sleep. But the 107,000 messages she read aloud from the stand included her own words about wanting Ashley dead. When Flynn allegedly wrote about hiring someone to take Ashley out, Botner’s reply, according to testimony, was “so tempting.” She admitted she coached Flynn on deleting data from his devices multiple times during the affair. She destroyed messages after the killing. She lied to the FBI. Her phone and laptop went missing a month before Ashley died. Ohio abolished alienation of affection lawsuits, so the family can’t sue Botner for the affair. But the texts and the cover-up raise a different question. Bob Motta and Robin Dreeke join the discussion.
