THIS Man Called Lori Vallow’s Lawyer ‘My Attorney’ on a Jail Call

Published by Tony Brueski on

Lori Vallow Daybell, convicted of murdering JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan, is taking her case to the Idaho Supreme Court. Her main argument hangs on Mark Means, a lawyer she hired herself.

The man paying Means was Chad Daybell, who referred to him as “my attorney” during a jail call. The judge held that Means couldn’t work for two people accused of the same murders and pulled him off her case. She calls that a violation of her right to a lawyer of her choosing, and she wants a new trial because of it.

A new trial would drag JJ, Tylee and Tammy’s families back through everything, for a woman Arizona already sentenced to two more life terms. Eric Faddis went from prosecutor to defense attorney, and Robin Dreeke retired from the FBI after running its counterintelligence behavioral program. Both join me on whether her appeal can succeed.
