Sandra Told Farwell About His Twin Brother — His Demand Was for HER

Sandra Birchmore told Matthew Farwell she’d been with William, his twin brother. Prosecutors allege Farwell’s response was a demand directed at Sandra, not a confrontation with William. Prosecutors say Farwell allegedly ordered Sandra to delete their texts, told her to pretend he was her older brother, and ran her name through law enforcement databases twenty-four times. William testified they never discussed Sandra while she was alive. When a friend called Stoughton PD and named Farwell on January 20, 2021, trial testimony says he raged at the dispatcher. Sandra once texted Farwell: “Thanks for making me feel like everyone else has. I wish I was never born.” Farwell faces federal murder charges and has pleaded not guilty.
