The affair began in 2015 when Mica was twenty. He confessed from his pulpit to “a moral failing.” Both marriages ended. JP set the engagement and wedding terms. They married in November 2017.

Mica died on April 27, 2024, at thirty. JP faces federal trial in October 2026 on cyberstalking and false statements charges.
