JP Miller Used THIS to Get Close to Mica

Published by Tony Brueski on

JP Miller coercive control — Netflix’s Death of the Pastor’s Wife showed the world what Mica Miller endured. This segment goes deeper into the mechanism.

JP was Mica’s youth worship leader at Solid Rock Church when she was a teenager. Fifteen years her senior. He officiated her first wedding. He employed her as his nanny. The affair began in 2015 when Mica was twenty. He confessed from his pulpit to “a moral failing.” Both marriages ended. JP set the engagement and wedding terms. They married in November 2017.

Worship leader. Officiant. Employer. Husband. Every role gave him authority and proximity.

Mica died on April 27, 2024, at thirty. JP faces federal trial in October 2026 on cyberstalking and false statements charges.

Former FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer analyzes the methodology and the systemic gaps.
