JP Miller Faces Federal Trial for What He Allegedly Did to Mica

Published by Tony Brueski on

JP Miller cyberstalking case — the former Solid Rock Church pastor faces federal trial in October 2026 on charges of cyberstalking Mica Miller and making false statements to investigators.

The indictment alleges a sustained campaign from November 2022 until Mica’s death on April 27, 2024 — GPS surveillance, a tire deflation device, over fifty calls in one day, and an intimate image posted without consent. Miller told agents the PI was hired to protect Mica. Prosecutors say that was a lie.

Mica filed reports with local police. The case stalled until the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office asked federal prosecutors to step in.

Miller pleaded not guilty, posted $100,000 bond, and faces up to seven combined years. He has since remarried and sold the church.

Former FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer dissects the federal case.
