D4vd’s Own Family Is Named In THIS New Filing

D4vd is not the only person facing legal consequences in the Celeste Rivas Hernandez case. The family’s wrongful death lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, names David Anthony Burke’s mother Colleen Burke, his management team, and his business entities as defendants. The complaint alleges each played a role in the system that the family says kept Celeste hidden.

The lawsuit describes an inner circle that allegedly knew about the relationship and facilitated the logistics. A bodyguard who allegedly drove a minor to the residence. Managers who the family says were in a position to intervene and did not. A mother who the family alleges was financially dependent on the career the arrangement surrounded.

Burke’s high-profile attorneys withdrew from the criminal case before his most recent arraignment. Blair Berk, who previously represented major celebrities, and Marilyn Bednarski asked the court to let them go. A public defender was appointed. Burke pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and other charges.

Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s remains were found in the trunk of a Tesla registered to Burke at a Hollywood impound lot in September 2025. She was 14. Prosecutors allege the relationship began when she was 13 and he was 18. The DA’s office has not yet decided whether to seek the death penalty.
