Caleb Flynn’s Daughters Will Take the Stand — Here’s WHAT They Know

Caleb Flynn’s defense comes down to a coincidence the prosecution says nobody should believe. He claims a burglar stole his own 9mm handgun from his Ford pickup truck on the exact night someone used that weapon to shoot his wife Ashley twice in the head inside their Tipp City, Ohio, home. Then the burglar vanished, leaving the two young Flynn daughters untouched in the next room. Prosecutors say Caleb staged the entire scene. He was arrested within 82 hours and indicted on 11 charges — aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, tampering with evidence, and witness intimidation. His bond was set at $3.5 million. But the trial in Miami County is about to deliver something worse than physical evidence for the defense. Those two daughters are on the prosecution’s witness list. A judge ruled they will testify — audio only, no video cameras. The woman with whom Caleb was allegedly having an affair is also set to testify. The jury will hear the secret Caleb allegedly kept from Ashley, from her family, and from the community that knew them as a devoted couple. Defense attorney L. Patrick Mulligan has 128 names on his own witness list.
