William Farwell Brushed Off Sandra Birchmore for This Reason

Matthew Farwell’s twin brother William promised Sandra Birchmore in October 2020 that he wouldn’t say a word about her and Matthew, and on October 27th he told a federal jury what else he kept to himself. Testifying with immunity, William said he and Matthew talked about Matthew’s other affairs but never about Sandra while she was alive. As he tells it, the State Police sergeant on her case said he needed it closed out and would try to leave William out of his report. William said Matthew later told him State Police had copied his phones, and that he’d wiped them first. On cross, Matthew’s lawyers got William to say he doesn’t recall being inside Sandra’s apartment on January 10th, 2021, part of their push to leave jurors unsure whose DNA is on the strap. I go through all of it, plus what the government’s doctor found on Sandra’s neck.
