The day Christine Wells-Wonsley laid her eighteen-year-old son Nolan to rest, her legal team was already moving. She got Nolan’s phone back from his friends and found both Snapchat accounts empty. She compared Life360 and Snapchat location data and found they didn’t match. On July 29, she filed court-ordered subpoenas against five major tech platforms — demanding GPS data, login histories, messages, and password reset records. Twenty-one days to produce everything.The family is building a parallel investigation alongside the criminal one, and the preservation letters ensure nobody in the official chain can claim their records were lost.
