Siders 16 Kids: Her Indictment Says WHAT She Did at 29?!
Elizabeth Siders pleaded not guilty to 23 charges on September 16, including four felony counts alleging the abuse of a child who is not one of her 16. She appeared in court visibly pregnant. Her bond sits at $550,000.
Her 16 children were found on June 30 in a 12-by-12-foot room in Hamden, Ohio. Feces, insects, children who couldn’t speak. The AG called it “pure evil.” Seven were hospitalized. The oldest is 18 and can’t spell her own name.
Elizabeth was 15 when she married. Her attorney argues she was pregnant for two decades with no medical care and no postpartum recovery. Relatives say she was “indoctrinated.” But she also delivered children at hospitals in three cities, attended school through 11th grade, and was present for two CPS investigations that the family responded to by blocking a caseworker and then disappearing with a fake address.
On August 21, a grand jury indicted her for allegedly harming a minor relative at 29. Her father-in-law was ruled incompetent on September 9 and will likely walk free. The question: does Elizabeth’s record support the same claim, or does it destroy it?
