Exposed: The Domestic Violence Record Linked to Lindsay Clancy’s Lone Juror
Eleven of twelve jurors wanted to acquit Lindsay Clancy. One man held out. Then it came out that Michael Desronvil had a dropped domestic violence charge from 2021 and an active restraining order against him during the trial, though Desronvil states he did not conceal anything. The defense demanded records. Judge Sullivan denied everything on October 21st. His reasoning: the information surfaced after the mistrial, so it can’t change the mistrial. Desronvil told Fox News he had no doubts. The jury’s foreperson says that’s a lie — that Desronvil admitted reasonable doubt and voted guilty anyway. Now the bigger question arrives November 2nd: can they try her again? Lindsay’s attorney Martin Weinberg will argue double jeopardy. DA Cruz still won’t say whether he’s pursuing a retrial, a plea, or dropping the case entirely. Patrick Clancy found the children, made the 911 call, and testified for the prosecution. He told 60 Minutes he’s forgiven Lindsay and that what matters is perinatal mental health awareness. He’s remarried and starting a family. His lawyer says the thought of going through this again is extraordinarily painful.
