Caleb Flynn’s Phone Was Empty and He Had a Reason For It

The detective handed Caleb Flynn’s phone back after scrolling through it and finding nothing. Not one message from his wife Ashley. Caleb had the explanation ready: he deletes texts to save storage. The jury now knows what prosecutors allege was actually on that phone.

When the detective asked about marital problems, Caleb Flynn said “none whatsoever.” According to prosecutors, his phone allegedly held more than a hundred thousand messages with another woman. Prosecutors say those messages included one about being up until 4 a.m. thinking of ways to kill his wife. And one sent hours before this interview allegedly read: I choose you, I’m free, actions will come tomorrow.
