Caleb Flynn’s Crime Scene Told the Detective Everything Before He Spoke

The door wasn’t locked. It wasn’t even latched. But somebody pried it open anyway — and the damage was on the inside. Detective Mike Morgan told Caleb Flynn that to his face and said it didn’t make a whole lot of sense. Caleb said for sure.

In Part 2 of the interrogation breakdown, Tony and retired FBI behavioral expert Robin Dreeke play three clips from the second police interview and pull apart what Detective Morgan was really doing when he walked Caleb through the evidence. The forced-but-unlocked door. The shooter at the foot of the bed — placed there using Caleb’s own description of where he stood. The neighbor who had already told police about the arguments before Caleb dared the detective to ask.

A BCI agent spent twelve hours in the home and concluded the scene was staged. Morgan already had that conclusion when he sat down. Every detail he put on the table was a move, and Robin Dreeke reads what Morgan was watching for in Caleb Flynn’s reaction to each one.

Caleb Flynn has pleaded not guilty to all charges. He is presumed innocent.
