Caleb Flynn Trial Day 3: Ballistics Experts Found WHAT About Both Bullets?

BCI ballistics experts Aaron Schultz and Alex Miller testified about the bullets and shell casings recovered in the investigation into the killing of Ashley Flynn, and what the markings on that evidence told them. 

Schultz and Miller described comparing markings, striations, and other firearm indicators on the recovered bullets and casings. Their testimony focused on whether those pieces of evidence could be connected to the same firearm. 

The experts testified that both bullets were fired from the same gun. They also testified that their analysis did not connect that firearm to any other crime. 

That finding gives jurors another piece of the physical-evidence picture in the case against Caleb Flynn. Prosecutors allege Caleb killed his wife, Ashley Flynn, and staged the scene to resemble a home-invasion burglary. Caleb has pleaded not guilty, and the defense maintains investigators rushed to blame him instead of proving an intruder was not responsible.
